And you heed a Day, no soul will be useful for any other soul in any way, intercession will not be accepted from her, nor will any alternative be accepted from her; and they will not be helped.
This verse portrays the Day of Judgment. On that Day, everyone should have to answer about their individual life after the age of 15th. Judgment will be done by reading the Recording Book fastened around one’s neck which doesn’t omit a moment of the worldly life as explained in verses 17: 13-14. It is told in verse 31: 33: “Oh mankind! Heed your Lord and fear a Day when no father will be useful for his son, and no child will be useful for his father in any way; indeed, the promise of the Lord is True, so don’t let the worldly life deceive you, nor the Deceiver Satan should deceive you”. Verses such as 6: 164; 17:15; 35: 18 and 39: 7 say: “No bearer of burden can bear the burden of others”. Verse 6: 104 ends as: “I am not a custodian upon you”. Verse 10: 108 ends as: “I am not a disposer and authority upon you”. Verse 39: 41 ends as: “You are not a disposer and authority upon them”. In short, no soul can bear the burden of others, except the forerunners who will enter Paradise without the Trial. For such forerunner believers, Adhikr will intercede and will permit to intercede in favor of others. It is asked through verse 2: 255: “Who is daring to intercede near the Lord without His Permission?” See explanation 1: 1, 3; 6: 94 and 11: 118-119.
